8 Dumb Video Games That Made You Feel Like A GENIUS

2. Rocket League

In its bones, Rocket League feels like something that a six-year-old came up with while doodling one afternoon - a football game where the flesh-and-blood players are substituted for rocket-powered cars, because why the hell wouldn't they be?

And while an initial glance suggests Rocket League to be a simple blunt instrument of a game where you drive around haphazardly while trying to nudge an oversized ball into a goal, there's so, so much more than that to it.

It's one of the best examples of an easy-to-pickup, tough-to-master game, one with hidden depths pertaining to its physics-based manoeuvrability.

That is to say, by the time you're using your boost to fly through the air and pull off a stunning aerial goal or interception, you'll feel like a damn genius.

Rocket League's skill ceiling is much higher than its goofy premise implies, but those who make it part of their evergreen gaming rotation are sure to pick up at least a few seriously impressive tricks.
