TYOA: 8 Forgotten Video Game DLCs You NEED To Play

Per its mediocre critical and commercial reception, 2020's Watch Dogs: Legion effectively caused the franchise to be shelved by Ubisoft, but not before releasing a shockingly great DLC, Bloodline, some eight months after the main game's tepid launch.

Bloodline's big hook is that it's a prequel to Legion centered around original Watch Dogs protagonist Aidan Pearce, alongside Watch Dogs 2's fan favourite Wrench.

While Aidan is hardly an all-timer video game hero, Legion's decision to have no fixed protagonist was one of its most complained-about aspects. 

By honing in on a distinct character, Bloodline's story feels more pointed and personal, while the dynamic between Aidan and Wrench is also a total gas.

Legion left many players bored, but Bloodline's shorter length and more shrewdly trained focus made it effortlessly more enjoyable - even if most never stuck around long enough to give it a whirl.

If this is truly the last piece of Watch Dogs gaming content we ever get, though, it's a fine note to bow out on.
