Wii U Playable At CES Next Month?

The Consumer Electronics Show will take place next January between the 10th and 13th.

It has been a while since we have heard anything new about the Wii U, we are still waiting to hear the final specs of the machine and now we may have a time when they will be announced. The rumor of the day is the Wii U will be showing up next year at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) according to a report from CNET. The Consumer Electronics Show will take place next January between the 10th and 13th. Here is what CNET says:
"Nintendo is bringing the Wii U to CES and that they'll be providing hands-on with the tablet-console hybrid. Nintendo has historically skipped over CES, but it's great to hear the company will have a presence there in 2012."
Nintendo did state that the final form of the Wii U would be shown off at E3 2012, so this CES demonstration may not be the actual final form of the system spec wise that we will get to see. In other words, Nintendo may still add some new specs to the console after the CES showing that could go unannounced until E3 2012. What is it that you want to see from the Wii U that would make the system a day one purchase for you?
