It gives the so far generically lacklustre Network lineup some variance and new content, at the same time as getting the game over to fans who are watching the channel. The 2K15 show could be along the same lines as cult 90's British gaming show GamesMaster, with dedicated feature spots and fan vs superstar challenges in the the studio. It would be a lot of fun and is the kind of varied feature show that the channel needs if it's to be perceived as more than just a rehash of wrestling content. The benefits to 2K are huge. None gaming fans will perhaps take some notice, looking for something different on the channel that isn't the inevitable repeating of documentaries and matches. A weekly show is basically an hour of advertising for the game each week on an emerging platform. If WWE land the million subscribers they need to break even with the Network then this is a captive audience who can all be converted into gamers.
