WWE 2K14 had its fair share on epic animations, but WWE 2K15 will feature an impressive five times the amount of animations compared to any previous wrestling game release. That's going to lead to some visually striking moments of gameplay and quite frankly we can't wait! The move to improve animations should also appease those critics who were scathing over the occasional 'pop up' and awkward transition animations in the last title. The improvements are going to be noticeable. Explaining the reason why animation quality may not have been up to par in the last release, WWE 2K15's executive producer Mark Little told polygon.com that short time-frames were to blame. "Obviously we were all very happy to be able to get the license, be a part of the WWE universe, bring on a new team, and still get a game done in the midst of what was an absolute disaster [...] the fact we were able to get WWE 2K14 done is a testament to everybody who was involved in that project." This time the same deadlines and rushed deal constraints don't apply. The 2K crew have had the trial and error of one release, this time around the kinks should be ironed out, we should benefit from a much smoother game production.
