The sad reality is that two decades of wrestling a dangerous style have ruined Mysterio's body. He has serious knee injuries and physically hasn't been able to compete for some time. He's still on the current WWE roster, but in all likelihood, he probably won't be seen in a WWE ring again. The game in 2013 had Rey ranked as a mighty 90. That was more reflective of his main event stature from over half a decade ago. With barely any action in the past year, the rating needs lowering. It might even be the case that WWE use the game to take a shot at Mysterio, turning him into the video game equivalent of a jobber. That's because backstage in WWE, the management aren't happy with how much ring time Mysterio has missed. The dispute has furthered after Rey's contract was extended beyond his will, due to all the ring time he owed the company. A lower rating in 2K15 could be a typical WWE way to take a shot at the star.
