10. There Will Be A Full On Stone Cold Game Mode
The official news from 2K is that Austin will be the cover star, but his role is actually far deeper than that. Jerry Lawler gave it away during a May interview on Memphis Radio, in which he let slip "Theyre having in this years game, a big Stone Cold Steve Austin Attitude Era section and they have me and J.R. back together again in the studio doing voice-overs for that. Fans should expect something along the lines of the '30 Years Of WrestleMania' mode which appeared in WWE 2K14, in which the gamer would progress through key history points. It'll probably be like that with 2K16's Austin mode, working through his important historic moments. Those moments will include wrestling Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13, turning on The Rock at WrestleMania 17, and all the moments in between like matches with Kane, Dude Love, The Undertaker and other stars of the Attitude Era. There'll obviously be a huge nostalgia aspect to all of this, most likely with retrospective video clips, just like WWE 2K15 featured videos in the rivalries mode.
