There are so many Steve Austins that you can play in WWE2K16. You can play as 'Stunning' Steve Austin, 'Superstar' Steve Austin, '97 Steve Austin, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, 'Current' Steve Austin, 'StoneAge' Steve Austin, 'Steaming' Steve Austin, 'Spaceman' Steve Austin - ok, not those last three. It shouldn't surprise fans that the Texas Rattlesnake is all over this game. After all, the Showcase mode is entirely dedicated to his career, but never before has one superstar featured almost half a dozen times in the character selection screen. Thankfully the King of the Ring Steve Austin that I got a chance to play (the first stage of Showcase mode is his conquering of Jake 'the Snake' Roberts) handled really nicely, so fans hopefully won't get bored at the surfeit of Steves.
