7. Ron Simmons

With JBL widely expected to receive a WWE Hall of Fame ring in his home state of Texas next year, it would be wise to include his former APA teammate Ron in the game as he kills two proverbial birds with one stone. His main reason for being included in this list is for the impact he made during his days before turning out for WWE. Ron represented the NWA and then WCW between 1988-94 before heading north to become Faarooq Asaad. During his initial run in the wrestling business, Simmons made history by becoming the first African American to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship when he defeated Vader in 1992. He is recognised by WWE as the first black world heavyweight champion in professional wrestling history, and if that's not enough to qualify for one of the WCW slots in the new game I don't know what is.
