WWE 2K16 Snub - 4 Horsewomen WON'T Ever Be In The Game

2k Sports confirm no Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, and Becky Lynch in the release... ever.

With 2K Sports recently finishing their roster reveal for next month's new WWE 2K16 video game, many fans noticed the absence of the "4 Horsewomen." Video game fans have been wondering if Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, and Becky Lynch could possibly be added after the game's release as downloadable content. Today, 2K Sports answered the question via a release on their official website:
"With our final roster reveal this past Monday, it was awesome seeing the excitement for The New Day, Enzo and Cass, Mikey Whipwreck, and more. But it was clear that some in the community are frustrated by the lack of the newer Divas added to the main WWE roster recently. We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2k16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons. While we are not divulging full details on WWE 2K16's post-launch plans just yet, we can confirm that the Four Horsewomen will not be available as DLC. We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever. The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total). We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in future WWE 2K titles."
The full list of Divas that are in WWE 2k16 is below. Emma Eva Marie Paige Summer Rae Tamina Snuka Brie Bella Nikki Bella Alicia Fox Cameron Layla Naomi Natalya It should be noted that Stephanie McMahon is also a playable character in the game. This is undoubtedly disappointing to many WWE fans who were perhaps looking forward to acting out their very own 'Divas Revolution' in the game. 2K are correct when they say that some gamers are frustrated by the lack of newer divas involved in the game and, whilst WWE 2K16 will feature the most divas ever in a WWE game, the absence of Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Lynch is noticeable. It will be interesting to see if details of why they were not included are released. Back in February, Banks replied to a fan on Twitter confirming that she had been scanned for the game which most took as a sure-fire sign that she would be included as a playable character. Evidently, that is not the case. We'll have to wait until WWE 2K17 before we get to play as these talented female performers.
