WWE 2K17 Soundtrack: 13 Tracks Revealed
Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs curates this year's edition.
2K have today announced details for the in-game soundtrack for WWE 2K17.
Personally curated by Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, the soundtrack will feature 13 songs from varying genres including hip-hop, indie, alternative rock, heavy metal and electronic dance.
Established names from numerous eras are joined by new up and coming artists in a soundtrack that is presented by Revolt Media & TV, a music cable network created by Combs.
Make sure you check out the interview with the Grammy Award winner below.
Getting the soundtrack right in a video game, never mind a wrestling one where the target market covers almost every demographic going, is a thankless task for developers. However, more often that not, WWE and their chosen partners knock it out of the park by unearthing some gems that become household names over the course of a game's lifespan - the likes of Powerman 5000's When World's Collide and Rise Against's Survive immediately spring to mind.
I'm sure this will be the case in this year's game too as Mr Diddy himself has transcended generations to compile a list of unadulterated anthems.
Here are all of the tracks included in the upcoming game's soundtrack. WWE 2K17 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on PlayStation4 and PlayStation3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 11, 2016.
