WWE 2K18: 10 Things That Must Be Included

8. Expand Match Types & Options

For a video game centered around professional wrestling matches, 2K17 lacked numerous match types and options, leaving many fans disappointed.

One glaring flaw is the lack of elimination match types for singles competitors with Elimination Chamber the only option. In addition, a Tables Match cannot be played with tag teams (one-on-one only), and a Steel Cage Match no longer allows the user to change the current mesh cage to the old school blue-or-black bar style.

Another popular match type, the Royal Rumble, cannot be changed to allow pinfalls nor can the entrance order be set for all participants. While we know the real 'Royal Rumble' match has never allowed pinfalls, there have been versions of battle royals permitting them but 2K17 does not include a Battle Royal match type.

My Universe mode has its own set of restrictions including the inability to change the Royal Rumble arena (according to 2K Sports it's by design and not a bug), and it's impossible to hold a one-night tournament event like King Of The Ring. For gamers looking to customize their own shows (the entire reason for the My Universe mode), this is a huge bummer and must be improved for 2K18.
