WWE 2K18: Predicting All 130 Superstars Who Will Be Included
10. Macho Man Randy Savage
OHHHHHH YEAAAAHHHHH! Can you tell after almost 7100 words I'm ready for this list to be over?
9. Vince McMahon
After the last couple of Vince McMahons in WWE games you have to wonder just how much money Vinnie Mac is slipping the developers on the sly to make him look as young as humanly possible...
8. Razor Ramon
Expect both Razor Ramon and Scott Hall to be in WWE 2K18, which is of course, too... you get the picture after Diesel's entry in this list.
7. Ric Flair
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We're nearly at the end!
6. Ravishing Rick Rude
Again, Rude could be like DDP in this legends section as a double roster member as he was also a member of the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2017. Basic game, HOF DLC, it doesn't matter. You can never have enough Ravishing Rick Rude in your life.
5. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat
Transitioning from a DLC pack as part of 2K16 to a full blooded basic game roster member in 2K17, I expect the quintessential babyface to stay a part of the disk you'll get when you open the 2K18 box for the first time.
4. Stone Cold Steve Austin
After having an entire game dedicated to his honour I guess Steve Austin will have to settle for merely a space on the roster from here on out. Expect to see his WCW, ECW and a couple of WWE versions included in the new game after usage in other 2K games in recent times.
3. Shawn Michaels
I guess we'll actually be able to play out that rumoured Royal Rumble dream match with AJ Styles after all...
2. Sting
Remember the uproar when The Stinger was announced as part of 2K15? That seems like such a long time ago, doesn't it?
1. The Undertaker
My choice to be cover star and the focus of a featured game mode if the powers that be choose to go down that road. Expect to see every single incarnation of The Undertaker character in 2K18 if this comes to fruition.
After compiling this list and looking at some of the names that have been left out I've come to the conclusion that there will be more than the 130-ish strong basic roster that we've received in WWE 2Ks '16 and '17 in WWE 2K18. The brand extension and the return of brand exclusive Superstars means that there are a lot more 'must not leave outs' than there has been in recent games which has seen both the NXT and Legends sections suffer. As I've shown here, it's impossible to get every name worthy of a spot in the game actually on the game's roster with the size we've been afford in the last two titles. Of course, DLCs will help this but 2K can't be taking advantage of a loyal fanbase here.
There needs to be at least 160 Superstars on the basic roster for all the key players to be included which shows that due to their own brilliance in offering us such varied rosters in recent times, 2K have backed themselves into a corner with 2K18 on the horizon. I wish them good luck.
