WWE 2K19: 10 Potential Showcase Modes
9. Land Of The Giants
There was a time when WWE was known as a "big man territory" famous for promoting physical size over in-ring skill. That has obviously changed over the years, so much so that workhorse wrestlers inspired by Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels are more the norm.
A change in style doesn't mean 2K can't relive the "Land Of The Giants" and give a nod towards more recent examples like Braun Strowman at the same time.
Including André The Giant would be timely due to this year's HBO documentary, and there could also be mini-retrospectives for larger performers like Big Show, Big John Studd, Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigelow, Vader and Kane; you may notice The Undertaker is missing from that list. That's only because he'd deserve his own Showcase.
Examining how size was once paramount in WWE would be interesting for newer fans more accustomed to smaller workers such as Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, Finn Bálor Seth Rollins and the like.
