WWE 2K19 is set to hit the shelves worldwide on 9 October, and publishers 2K Sports have today unveiled a new gameplay trailer.

Titled "The Phenomenal One," it features a number of highlights from various game modes, with 16-time World Champion Ric Flair, Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey, and Rey Mysterio all featured.

Starting with gloomy footage of Bray Wyatt seemingly raising a zombified Triple H somewhere in the countryside, it soon transitions to Matt Hardy standing in front of a starry backdrop before switching to more traditional gameplay footage. AJ Styles, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, and hordes of others are all highlighted, as is Steve Austin wrestling Vince McMahon in an Attitude-style arena.

The package also sheds light on the Million Dollar Challenge game mode, which tasks players with overcoming a number of obstacles en route to facing AJ Styles at WrestleMania 35. A full rundown of this can be found on WWE 2K's official website.

The supernatural content is probably the trailer's most interesting revelation, with the brief snippets of in-ring gameplay revealing little. Still, 2K19 looks as sharp and sleek as ever, and its loyal fanbase will lap it up regardless.
