After two long years of waiting, WWE 2K22 is here and in the first few weeks there are generally positive reviews coming out. While many of the new features in 2K22 are sure to provide countless hours of fun, nothing beats entering the creator studio and building your very own superstar, entrance or moveset from scratch.
What sometimes gets forgotten about in creator mode is the players ability to create one of a kind arenas inside the game. Whike 2K22 comes preloaded with various arenas, the limited selection leaves alot to be desired. If you spent the time to create, or download wrestlers from companies like AEW, or even characters from comic books or television shows, it just would not look right having them fight it out on Raw or SmackDown. Despite never reaching the heights of WWE or more recently AEW, Ring of Honor has been one of the standout wrestling promotions of the last 22 years. Somewhat of a proving ground for the wrestling world, ROH has been able to turn seemingly unknown talent into some of the biggest stars the wrestling world has seen.
With Ring of Honor standouts Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn already in the game, as well as the endless list of current and former ROH wrestlers available to download, it is only right you play with these wrestlers on their home turf. Creator Hoobdiddy has done a fantastic job with the recreation, taking influence from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, better known as the ECW Arena. With Ring of Honor's trademark black and red scheme, the simplicity of the ring and ringside area are nearly perfect.
While the titantron used might be a bit much for Tony Khan's newest purchase, it is still an excellent arena to use with Ring of Honor wrestlers past and present.
