WWE 2K23: 21 Wrestlers Making Their Series Debut
2K will serve up 21 brand new characters for you to play as in WWE 2K23.
Who are you most excited to play as in the upcoming WWE 2K23?
Flawless 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns? Breakout babyface Sami Zayn? Returning hero Cody Rhodes? Raw's reigning queen Bianca Belair? Maybe it's one of the legends who will grace the game's roster, like Steve Austin or the iconic Bruno Sammartino.
Or, perhaps you're the kind of player who can't wait to pick someone totally new.
2K's roster is always slightly outdated by the time the game launches each year, but 2K23 should be a bit more up-to-date than the last effort. That title almost had more current AEW stars on it than episodes of Rampage (sorry, ROH!).
This time, 2K's team will offer no less than 21 totally brand new characters for you to choose from. They'll make up part of a staggering 178-strong roster once all the DLC packs are out. That's an incredible number, but this list isn't about megastars like Roman Reigns, John Cena or Becky Lynch - no, it strictly focuses on the new.
So, here goes; 21 wrestlers across 19 separate entries. Yep, that means there are a few new tag-teams in the game...
19. Grayson Waller
First though, it's Shawn Michaels' favourite wrestler.
The outspoken Grayson Waller will take his series bow in WWE 2K23, and that should come as no surprise to anybody who pays close attention to the third brand. Waller has challenged for the NXT Title and become one of the top heels in developmental recently.
He's a good pick for those who want to start from the bottom of the WWE system and work their way up as one superstar in Universe Mode. Think of that as a love letter to the old Story/Career modes found in the classic SmackDown titles of yesteryear.
