WWE 2K23 is looking good.

No, literally. This assortment of sexy screenshots proves it, but there will still be some sitting on the fence even after 2K22 torched unwanted negativity hanging over the series. Will the next game reinvent the wheel? Hardly, but some new add-ons and features will make this the definitive WWE gaming experience.

The developers have been touting the first sighting of WarGames as a major selling point this year. That match type, the interesting twist on Showcase (you'll be fighting against poster boy and cover star John Cena this time), a refined MyGM and some tasty tweaks to the gameplay/controls should enhance things.

Here, you'll feast your eyes on sumptuous character models, other builds that may split opinion on social media, gameplay footage, Showcase, the much-wanted WarGames arena and more. The zoomed-in feel to some of the screens is an interesting choice from 2K, because that can always expose a few rough-around-the-edges moments.

It's all looking like 2K23 will be another step in the right direction for this once-loved and recently much-maligned franchise though. Take a look at all of this!

First up is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion-in-waiting, Cody Rhodes. His entrance is predictably one of the best-looking in this year's game.
