5. Different Arena Maps
Yes, 2K22 does let you pick between vast stadiums and small convention halls when creating arenas, but the developers could go way, way, way further with this than ever before. Ultimately, other than the visual scale of the place surrounding the ring, every arena is pretty much the same.
Why not have each one be its own “map” or "hub world"? Players would be able to brawl through the crowd, up into the stands and then backstage through hallways that are noticeably different from other venues. A homage to Madison Square Garden should look and play uniquely when compared to, say, an arena built to resemble ye olde Hammerstein Ballroom.
Surely it wouldn't be impossible for 2K to do this?!
Arena-specific backstage areas/rooms would suffice, but so would some environmental bells and whistles in the stands/at ringside. If necessary, loading in different camera angles for each arena would make them stand out from one another too.
