3. Revive Dead Horses

Losing a horse in Breath of the Wild is surprisingly easy. Guardians, enemies and steep cliffs can often result in the end of your trusted compatriot. Want to bring them back?

One of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game is actually the Horse Fairy Malany. This Fairy can actually revive any dead horse that you've previously registered at a stable for 1000 Rupees. Malany can be located south east of the Highland Stable, and appears to look like any other Fairy Fountain. Once finding her, she will grant you the ability to revive your steed from her at any time.

This is especially great if you managed to unlock Epona as an amiibo bonus from the Smash Link amiibo. Because Epona has the highest horse stats in the game, with maximum of everything, losing her is one of the worst things to do. If you do lose her, just return to Malany and prepare to shell out 1000 Rupees.
