2. Use Fairies To Revive In A Pinch

Fairies return in Breath of the Wild, and their role here is as important as ever.

Fairies can be located either by cutting down grass or by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. Upon seeing them, they'll promptly try to fly away as fast as possible.

The easiest way to catch them is to immediately sprint after them, jump and then grab. After collecting a Fairy, it will revive Link with a maximum of five hearts upon death. This makes them especially helpful earlier on in the game, making frequent trips to Great Fairy Fountains a necessity.

Fairies can also be used when cooking meals, providing the meal with the hearts they would usually give when reviving Link. Don't worry though, they don't get cooked!
