10 Horror Movie Franchises You've (Probably) Never Seen

How many horror films about people holed up in a Nevada bar while being attacked by a gross-ass monster have you seen that were executive-produced by the likes of Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Wes Craven?

Feast was the outcome of an HBO documentary TV series called Project Greenlight - effectively a contest where one submitted screenplay was chosen to be made into a feature film.

Screenwriters Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton - who would later pen numerous Saw sequels - won the third season contest with Feast, which was released in 2005.

Though it received mixed reviews and failed to turn a profit at the box office, its humour, clever twists, and memorable kills made it a modest hit on home video.

Enough, even, that Feast II: Sloppy Seconds followed in 2008, and Feast III: The Happy Finish the very next year.

While neither got close to matching the gonzo thrills of the original, that a film greenlit from a reality docu-series ended up spawning two sequels honestly feels like a win for all involved.
