4. Death - The Final Destination Franchise
The antagonist of the Final Destination franchise is, of course, Death itself, a largely unseen force that attempts to claim the lives of those who've managed to evade its grasp.
While from the perspective of our protagonists, Death is a purely malevolent force baying for their blood, really, Death is just a thing doing its job - a universal bean-counter carrying out some very necessary population control.
Sure, you can absolutely argue that Death enjoys its job a little too much, given the cruel and creative deaths it tends to come up with, rather than, y'know, just killing everyone painlessly in their sleep, but it's a job that nevertheless needs doing.
Death is a glorified member of the world's janitorial staff, simply restoring balance and doing so without any outside bias or discrimination. And moreover, it's one of the few pure inevitabilities in life, so how can it possibly be truly wrong?
