14. ABCs Of Death 2
The first ABCs of Death consisted of 26 shorts, each named after a different letter of the alphabet and each made by a different filmmaker. The films, coming from all corners of the world, ranged wildly in tone and content, delivering an uneven yet undeniably memorable kaleidoscope of cinematic insanity. The second movie, which was generally an improvement, went just as hard, if not harder.
Viewers will be treated to an endless carousel of unhinged insanity here. You've got ghoulish animations, surreal nightmares, gruesome dystopian thrillers, wacky horror-comedies, and even political parables. This collection has a little bit of everything, with most of the shorts having some sort of bonkers twist at the end, too. Once again, the quality is all over the place, and that helps to make this work so unique.
In terms of which ones are the nuttiest, look out for D is for Deloused, T is for Torture Porn, and Z is for Zygote. No spoilers will be given, so suffice to say that your jaw will drop like a stone. If you have a strong stomach (a lot of these shorts are very gnarly), then this is an anthology that's worth checking out.
