4. Queen Gets Their Biggest Hit Thanks To Michael Jackson - The Game

Even with the constantly shifting musical trends in the 70's and 80's, Queen always remained an immense presence in the world of rock music. From their operatic singles in their glory days to their more elemental tracks like "We Will Rock You," it seemed that no genre was off the table for the band to tackle.

As the decades turned, the band were about to make one of the bigger splashes of their career with The Game, which would go on to produce hits like "Need Your Loving Tonight" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." However, the biggest hit from the record was included almost as a filler track. While the band loved the bassline, "Another One Bites The Dust" didn't seem to have the staying power in the minds of the band members.

It wasn't until the band was paid a visit by fellow musician and Queen devotee Michael Jackson that they started to take the song seriously. Jackson absolutely loved the track and insisted that they put it out as a single. With a bit of apprehension, the band eventually relented and released the song, which became one of the most successful tracks of their career. Thanks to the King of Pop, Queen had bridged the gap between rock grandeur and pop hookiness.
