10 Amazing Follow Ups To Classic Albums
5. Homogenic - Bjork
When looking at the entire umbrella of alternative rock, there doesn't seem to be a distinct category for someone like Bjork. In the midst of the new waves of stuff like ska, pop punk, and even nu metal coming out at the time, Bjork's rule of the airwaves with songs like Army of Me and It's Oh So Quiet gave her her own unique lane to casually take risks in. The Icelandic queen is certainly no slouch either, bringing some of her most erratic vocal performances to the table as well, almost like she's looking at her voice as just one small part of the entire musical orchestra she has to draw from. Although we may never know what kind of extraterrestrial music lies beyond these cosmos, this at least gives a glimpse of what we could expect.
