10 Amazing Hard Rock Songs Featuring Killer Guest Stars

7. Sick Sick Sick - Queens of the Stone Age

It almost feels redundant saying that a guest star is appearing on a Queens of the Stone Age song. Almost from day one, Josh Homme's amazing stoner rock outfit has basically been a star studded list of guest stars, with the likes of Dave Grohl, Billy Gibbons, and even Trent Reznor coming through the ranks on more than a few occasions. Although each of them add muscle to their respective tracks, Julian Casablancas really made his presence known on Sick Sick Sick.

Being one of the few acts from the new school to feature on a QOTSA record, Julian's voice is as clear as day on the refrains of this song. Since the whole track is meant to paint the picture of this toxic relationship that's spiraling out of control, his voice is exactly the kind of thing that compliments Josh's signature tenor range.

From the sounds of the song, he almost sounds like he's in pain when going through the words "I want to change," until his voice suddenly shifts into a lower register for the "I don't wanna change" section. In essence, the whole thing feels like you're watching Julian become possessed by the subject matter of the song, as it starts to eat away at his soul. Whereas this could have just been a decent collab, this feels like a track that's pulled straight out of a horror movie.
