1. Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone
This video stands as one of the best videos not only of the 21st century but definitely of all time (
check it out here) Coming out 48 years after the song's 1965 release, Dylan made sure that his iconic song was backed up by one hell of a video. No one can really say it wasn't well worth the long wait. As one of the many interactive videos cropping up these days, it definitely demands multiple viewings in order to fully appreciate it and you definitely won't be disappointed. On top of that, the song still carries the same punch it did back in its day. As a commentary on television and our attachments to it, the interactive quality of the video is more than just a novelty. On one station we watch reality stars lip-syncing to Dylan and then, at our whim, we change the channel and catch Drew Carey seamlessly picking up where they left off and so on and so on. It's a clever reflection on the values we put on entertainment and it's driven home with one of the most important songs ever written. Similar to what Michael Jackson's Thriller did for music videos in its time, the Like A Rolling Stone video has set the bar very high for ones to follow.
