8. 'N Sync
Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick (okay, I may have Googled the names of the last couple of them) called it a day in 2002, and although a certain member of the group has never looked back since, the other members of group didn't fare quite as well. JC Chasez had a pop at a solo career, which didn't last too long. Joey Fatone is the host of 'The Wheel of Fortune Live', while Lance Bass spent months training to become an astronaut, yet he still hasn't made it into outer space (true story). But it is the success of Justin Timberlake that has undoubtedly eclipsed the achievements of the rest of the gang, and is something which could prove to be a major stumbling block in any attempts for getting everyone back together again. The group briefly reformed this year for the MTV Video Music Awards in New York, but have since confirmed that it is a one-off and that the band are "definitely broken up."
