1. Give It Away - Red Hot Chili Peppers
This is what happens when the Red Hot Chili Peppers try and sing about something that isn't California.
The very first lines of Give It Away indicate that the listener is in for a completely wild time:

Right.
Honestly, this entry could just be lines pulled from the song. Anthony Keidis does off on so many tangents, it's hard to keep up. He sings about River Phoenix, Bob Marley, Sly Stone, German monarchs, and pigs among other things.
He also goes back to family, with disturbing results:

The Chilis' lyrics have never been flawless, but is that really what you listen to them for?
Absolutely not.
You listen to them to take your shirt off and jump around like there's no tomorrow.
