10 Best AC/DC Songs Ever
8. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Not many bands could write a song about a hitman and have it able maintain absolute seriousness, but AC/DC seem to be able to pull it off to a worryingly high degree (maybe someone should look into that?).
Dynamically, this song is easily able to shift between the strong, aggressive riff that dominates the entire track, and the smoother choruses that are punctuated by heavy breathing and lingering guitar feedback. All of this is rounded by the simple hook, that when chanted by hoards of fans at large venues really go to show how much of a crowd-pleaser Dirty Deeds is.
Also worthy of mention is the laid back bridge where the various "services" offered are gleefully listed, with particularly fun examples such as concrete shoes and cyanide.
Seriously folks, there's a confession tape in here somewhere...
