This is the only song on the list that isn’t actually sung by Flight of the Conchords’ duo Jemaine and Bret, but is instead sang by their rap alter-egos the Hiphopopotamus and the Rhymenoceros. And it’s just as well these guys took over because they are surprisingly good rappers!

The song sees the Hiphopopotamus and the Rhymenoceros doing as all good gangsta rappers do and trying to make themselves out to be as bad-ass as possible. And with lyrics like “Sometimes my rhymes are polite, like “Thank you for dinner, Ms Wright. That was very delicious, good night”” and “There ain’t no party like my nana’s tea party”, it’s clear for all to see just how bad-ass the Conchords’ rap alter-egos are.
