With Circles and I Built the Sky under their wing, Caligula’s Horse sold out a slew of venues on their latest run, delivering an energised and likeable set every single time.
In Contact would dominate set-lists, putting its variety front-and-centre through the heavy metal bang of “Will’s Song” contrasting with the sweeping landscapes of “Graves” and the avant-garde spoken-word of “Inertia and the Weapon of the Wall”. Meanwhile, frontman Jim Grey would regularly joke with his audience, who sing along to not just every lyric, but also Sam Vallen’s numerous harmonic guitar licks.
