10 Best Live Acts In Metal Today
7. Hell
Born in Derbyshire, England, Hell are best described as a combination of Judas Priest and Arthur Brown. Though they have only released two albums since their formation in 1982, they maintain their reputation through their stand-out live performances.
Coming to the stage in robes, with faces decked in corpse paint, the band delivers a theatrical and fantasy-inspired live performance for the ages. Featuring flames, fireworks, horned-costumes, and a dash of fake blood, Hell offer a special effects masterpiece, as well as a heavy metal performance.
Though their stage show is a spectacle in its own right, Hell’s musical work is also impressive, with great guitar work, melodic keyboard playing, and the unbelievable vocal range of frontman David Bowes.
