10 Best Revenge Songs
9. Cee Lo Green - "F**k/ Forget You" (2010)
Taking a more direct approach than some of the other artists in this list, Cee Lo Green's aptly named "F**k You" (or his slightly more radio-friendly version "Forget You") rather directly sees the American singer telling his ostentatious ex exactly where to go.
Lamenting how he's been left behind for a more wealthy, show-off lover, Green breaks straight into the iconic, uber-catchy chorus that must be known the world over at this point. The song is practically the musical equivalent of a middle finger, but brought to life by a silky-smooth RnB singer's voice.
"F**k You" was an instant hit upon release back in August 2010, landing Green his first Grammy win in the Best Urban / Alternative Performance category in 2011. The album the single came from, The Lady Killer, also saw huge success, and has been certified double Platinum here in the UK.
Notable performances of the song include Cee Lo Green performing it with Gwyneth Paltrow and several of the Muppets at the 53rd Grammy Awards evening back in 2011, as well as WWE's 2011 Summerslam in LA, backed up by some of the WWE Divas as dancers.
