Release Date: TBA And lastly on the list is the return of Mozza himself. The ex-Smiths front man has signed a record deal with Harvest/Capitol records to release a new album within the year. Morrissey himself has said that he is "delighted" with the deal and is planning to start work on the album within the first quarter of 2014 in France. This all came as a bit of surprise - a welcome one mind you - to fans as last year his death seemed more imminent than a new album. Thankfully however this was not the case, as five years after 2009's superb "Years of Refusal" and his long awaited autobiography, he has finally found a label willing to release his latest work. Little is known about the album yet, but if it is to follow the natural progression of his solo work we can expect another heavily guitar-driven record packed with the bitingly aggressive lyrics we have come to expect. It's going to be a controversial release no doubt about it, Morrissey is always keen to get a reaction from the public (case in point, his likening of meat-eaters to paedophiles earlier this year). However, this is why he has gained the following he has now. It's intriguing to see who will be attacked next, what aspect of life will have his negative and narcissistic light shone upon it and what dark humour he will use to explore these issues.
