3. Alien Ant Farm - Everything She Wants
After names like T-Rex, Drowning Pool and Metallica have all appeared, it seems extremely unnatural for us to then look at a Wham cover but here we are. Alien Ant Farm rose to fame in 2001 thanks to their cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Smooth Criminal’, and they returned to their cover roots in 2020.
Wham! probably aren’t the first name that comes to mind when someone mentions rock and metal, but that didn’t stop Alien Ant Farm from releasing this fantastic cover of their 1984 hit, ‘Everything She Wants’. This song appeared on the massive ‘Make It Big’ album alongside huge hits such as ‘Careless Whisper’ and ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’.
Even though Alien Ant Farm have released some great original tunes over the years, it seems that their ability to execute phenomenal cover songs is almost unmatched.
