10 Biggest WTF Moments In 2010s Rock

9. Josh Homme Kicks A Photographer

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is a difficult person to be a fan of. He and his various projects have created some killer music over the years, but there's a sizeable section on his Wikipedia page dedicated to the various legal issues and controversies Homme has had throughout his life.

In December 2017, whilst performing as part of the KROQ radio station's annual Christmas show, Homme was videoed kicking a camera into the face of Shutterstock photographer Chelsea Lauren.

The No One Knows singer would later issue an apology which, to be honest, read a little like the inner monologue of a Batman villain.

"I want to be a good man, but I think last night I definitely failed at that," he said. "I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, and last night was definitely one of them."

Okay, not sinister at all...

Lauren, in an interview with Variety, claimed that Homme looked directly at her before kicking her, implying that the assault was premeditated. Regardless of why it happened, this incident was one of the strangest moments of the entire year and cast further shadows on an already-troubled performer.
