A song about having nookie in the daytime, Afternoon Delight is a cheerful and highly catchy little number with delightful vocals and a saucy feel good factor. The song reached number one in 1976 and the Starland Vocal Band won two Grammys - one for Best Arrangement (voices) and Best New Artist. Unfortunately they were one hit wonders and never managed to replicate the success of Afternoon delight. The song has been widely lampooned - from two episodes of The Simpsons to the hypnosis scene in Good Will Hunting.
