This had to be on here. It's another eurodance number that everyone knows from those school discos. Hailing from Sweden, Rednex (great name...) mixed dance/techno music with traditional country instruments like fiddles and banjos. That's right, they did this more than once, but it's their cover of traditional American folk song 'Cotton Eyed Joe' that everyone knows.

Another one to add the odd gimmick list, this song is just plain weird. There's something unsettling about hearing fiddles and banjos with techno dance music; it doesn't feel right, but grab a partner and do your best do-si-do - it's the only thing that makes sense right now.
