10 Completely Insane Demands That Entertainers Made For Gigs
8. Meat Loaf
Another '70's icon who continues to perform is Meat Loaf, who's "Bat Out of Hell" album has provided him with a meal ticket for a very, very long time. We were tempted just for fun to bill him in this feature as Meatloaf, simply because this is apparently something that the big man absolutely despises. If we had done so it wouldn't have been the first time as evidenced by the fact that Mr. Loaf's rider states very specifically that his moniker is TWO WORDS, not one, and is to be spelled on bills and marquees accordingly! Meat is also very specific as to the stature he has reached in the entertainment world: "Promoter acknowledges that it is promoting a worldwide 'superstar' artist", that he is to be treated in an absolutely "First class" manner, and to be afforded the courtesies that his stature demands (whatever that means).
