I know what you€™re thinking and, for those of you who have read my bio, no, this is not the only reason why she made my list. Apart from being a huge fan of the song, I was also unsure as to what the song was meant to say. It sounds like a love song, reads like a breakup song, but has a bittersweet chorus that hinders my ability to decide what kind of song this is. The music video does a wonderful job of explaining it to me, which is something of a lost part to music videos these days. It is a love, then break up, then get back together song! Really straightens things out. At any rate, the video uses creative techniques to skew the human body into an almost grotesque trophy, explores the altered humans€™ ability to move in the modern world, and how other€™s react to their differences. The ending, of course, was romantic and heartfelt, solidifying the idea that once we find the one, we become the complete human being we were born to be.
