8. Bloc Party
Saturday - Main Stage Art-punk indie rockers Bloc Party certainly boast the credentials their debut album Silent Alarm was a critical smash and was named Album Of The Year by NME back in 2005. They followed it up with a trio of successful albums and a raft of hit singles, mixing their own unique style with their key influences: Band Of Four, The Cure, and Joy Division. Preceding and warming up a crowd for The Killers is no small feat, but Bloc Party are festival veterans now and have wooed crowds time and time again with their fast and furious sets. Look forward to a set replete with angular rock anthems and beat propelled synth-laden dance hits.
