10 Famous Musicians Who Are High-Level Mixed Martial Artists

7. Rikki Rockett

Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania's Rikki Rockett is best known as the drummer for the popular rock band Poison. The 58-year-old's contributions have helped the group sell over 45 million albums.

Outside of touring the world with Bret Micheals, Rockett can often be found practicing Jiu-Jitsu. The Poison star isn't just another celeb who happens to be a casual practitioner. In fact, he currently holds a 3rd-degree black belt and has even competed in tournaments.

Like so many others, Rockett discovered jiu-jitsu by watching Royce Gracie compete in the early Ultimate Fighting Championship tournaments. He was even trained with grappling legends like Eddie Bravo.

The drummer has received training from some of the best that the discipline has to offer, like the Machado brothers, including (but not limited to) Jean-Jacques, Rigan, and Carlos. It was actually Renato Machado who awarded Rockett his most recent belt.

Rikki Rockett is an experienced grappler and one of the most dangerous 80s rock stars on the planet.
