9. Sammy Hagar
I know there's something out there, and someday they'll come. These are the po-faced words of Sammy Hagar, who replaced David Lee Roth as the lead singer of Van Halen from 1985 to 1996. According to Hagar, aliens infiltrated his mind and not only stole knowledge from him, but granted him knowledge, too. This wasn't just some throwaway anecdote, either. Hagar detailed the experience in extreme length in his memoirs Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock. The singer claims that he was lying in bed one night when he suddenly saw a vision of two creatures in a spacecraft floating several miles away, who tapped into his brain. After they had finished, they spoke in an unintelligible language and his room fell into darkness. In an interview on The Howard Stern Show, Hagar also claimed to have witnessed a strange floating vehicle hovering across a field when he was a young boy. That's a long time to survey someone just to download the contents of their brain as some sort of alien .zip file.
