10 Famous Musicians Who Just Do The Same Weird Thing Every Time

2. "Look At Me, I'm A High Tenor!" - Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was such an incredibly talented singer that entire swathes of the population insisted, with absolutely no supporting evidence, that he must have been chemically castrated as a child. He wasn't, as his autopsy showed, he was just one of the best falsetto singers of a generation.

So good, in fact, that every time he had a spare moment to catch his breath in a song, he'd just blurt something out at the top of his register purely to remind you that he could do that. "Hee hee" was, of course, the most famous, but "Aoww", "Yeaaah", and the more enthused uses of "Shamone" also peaked out towards the top of his near inhuman F2-F6 vocal range.

The impressive exclamation quickly became a signature of his music, much in the same way the Moonwalk became a signature of his dancing, and as his personal troubles mounted it became more of a crutch for him to fall back on. From the late 80s onwards almost every up-tempo Michael Jackson song would have them thrown into multiple lines and lyrics, quite literally to the point of parody.
