10 Famous Songs With Creepy Undertones You Totally Missed

3. Hello - Lionel Richie

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_ILDFp5DGA I'm sure a whole bunch of people have slow danced to this old gem at prom nights around the globe. Unfortunately for all of those individuals it is my duty to make you aware that this song is actually about a teacher that stalks one of his student that he has fallen in love with. Yikes.
I've been alone with you, Inside my mind, And in my dreams I've kissed your lips, A thousand times. I sometimes see you pass outside my door, Hello! Is it me you're looking for?
Admittedly at no point in the song does it explicitly state that this is a teacher's lustful thoughts towards a pupil, but those of you who have seen the music video will surly agree that it gets awkwardly disturbing by visually showing us that this is the case, as Lionel stalks a blind student ("Hello! Is it me you're looking for?"... real classy guys). However, the truly creepy part about this song occurs when we realise this is more than a teacher's fantasy, and he drops the "L" bomb before even having introduced himself to her: "And I want to tell you so much, I love you". Personally I think Lionel needs to work on his pick-up lines a bit harder.
