10 Great Songs That Never Made A Studio Album
2. The Masterplan - Oasis
Oasis have many true classics in their song arsenal, many of which came from 1996's What's the Story Morning Glory?. But I stand by the fact that the greatest song they have ever written remains a B-side.
When coming up with another track for the "Wonderwall" single, Noel Gallagher took the time to give the world his magnum opus. Being Oasis, there is a definitive Beatles influence, but the song is almost a celebration of all British rock from Queen to Bowie to Elton John. But while the influences may be worn on their sleeve, the song is undeniably Oasis.
The lyrics are some of the most hard-hitting words Noel has ever uttered. It speaks of how even though we may not know who we are or whether or not we fit in, we all have our own place in the world that is waiting for us. We should in turn celebrate the fact that life is unpredictable, because something better could be waiting around the corner if things look grim at the moment. So in that case, live life to the fullest and dance if you wanna dance.
