10 Greatest AC/DC Songs Of The Brian Johnson Era

AC DC - Thunderstruck

For me this is one of the ultimate rock n' roll tracks of all time. Go to any sports event and your pretty much guaranteed to hear an AC/DC song and 8/10 times, it's this one you'll hear.

If you hear this song, and it doesn't make you wanna get up and go mad, then I dunno, maybe you're broke. It has one of the most distinctive openings in the world of music, and it's such a gradual build up aswell. Sarting with Angus Young making women jealous of his fretboard with his hammer on's and pull off's, then Malcolm and Cliff coming in with their slow but building primal chanting, then the pounding drums from Chris Slade all driving forward untill the "THUNDA". By now you know what this song, and this band is all about. And after all that build up, it doesn't stop until the very last chord. Amazing.
