10 Greatest Metal Albums Of The 1980’s

9. Dokken – Tooth And Nail

With catchy lyric writing and excellent guitar work, there’s not a bad song on the entirety of Tooth And Nail, which can be listened to again and again without becoming tedious.

Particular highlights of album are the solos performed by lead guitarist George Lynch , the vocals of frontman Don Dokken and the track Into The Fire, which featured as the theme song for A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors - no doubt helping the sales figures and allowing the album to go platinum.

Dokken far exceed the levels of talent that were expected of 80’s glam metal acts, and this album proves that to no end. What an excellent way to spend 38 minutes.
